What are good toys for puppies that are going to be 4 weeks? And when can I introduce wee pads?
I gave them a little soft squeaky dog toy and they like it yet they can't make it squeak yet. I was thinking about good toys for teething that they'd enjoy? We never used wee pads when we got pups but I thought I'd introduce them since many dog owners use them and give like a kit to new owners. Also, at what age should they go new homes? We are fostering the Mom who was pregnant so this is all new to us but the puppies are super healthy and happy! They are Shelties.
i use wee-pads instead of news paper, stops the puppies turning grey/brown (if their white).
give them toys that they cant chew up, i also give mine a cuddly toy (made for dogs) to snuggle into.
i take all toys out at night or when I'm not there, you never know what those little teeth can get into, I'm paranoid about mine choking.
my puppies are cavaliers who are a Toy breed, i wait until 10 weeks for my pups.
as shelties are also a small breed (if it was me) id wait until 9/10 weeks. but they can go from 8 weeks.
