Pregnant ladies and mommies, did you ever think you would be ready?
I was just thinking back to finding out I was having a baby, and I honestly thought we would never be ready, or be able to afford everything a baby takes. When we found out, my fiance and I had a roomate and nothing ready for a baby. We are now getting close to my due date (34 weeks on Wednesday) and we have an entire nursery. The only things we still need are MORE diapers, bottles (I plan to breastfeed) and a breastpump....its incredible how everything came together so well....
We no longer have the roomate, as well as we have had people giving us more stuff than we could even imagine, including a brand new Jenny Lind crib and changing table set, as well as a new leather lazyboy rocker/recliner so we can rock her to sleep....and these were all from people we didn't even know.
I hope my story can inspire all those ladies just now finding out they are pregnant and feel unprepared....do you have any stories of hope?
I'm very glad to hear everything came together! I am 8 months pregnant and still very worried and scared, as we live on a very restricted budget and haven't even started shopping that much for baby yet...It has gotten me to the point where I want to pull my hair out sometimes lol! I know it will all be worth it in the end, and even if we can only afford clothes, food, and diapers, our little one will be just fine! I do have to remind myself of that quite often though! Congrats on your bundle of joy.
