How long does it take to knit a baby jumper?
I have just started knitting a baby jumper in 8 ply wool and on 4.5 mm needles in stocking stitch. This jumper is a cardigan and is knit in back and front pieces and sleeves as a different piece. I was just wondering if anybody could tell me approximately how long it would take to finish?

P.s. This is for a 6 month old
this would depend on how fast you can knit and the style of the cardigan.
Make the back first and see how long it takes.
You should be able to make the 2 fronts in the same amount of time as the back and the 2 sleeves would take a little longer than the back, add a few minutes to sew together and adding the buttons.
With that ply yarn and those size needles it would take me about 4 - 6 hours.
