If it's 62 degrees outside, why do people dress their newborns in a onesie t-shirt?
Should I politely tell them that it's cold out and their kid needs to wear socks and pants and a coat?
No one answered my original question of WHY do they dress their child inappropriately, you all commented on how rude it is to speak to strangers (which I have never done and don't intend on doing, thanks.) Living in dark, chilly Seattle makes for many cold days and very often I see kids at the playground with tank tops when it's starting to drizzle and I just wonder why they aren't wearing coats and hats when it's needed?
Also, I am the mom to six children---my oldest is at an Ivy league school and my youngest is 16 months so I'm a seasoned mom who only means well. Sorry to hear there are so many angry people out there.
