My friends and I are in college and want to go to California for a month this summer.?
Two of my friends and I want to spend a month of our summer vacation in southern California (L.A. area). We don't need high-paying jobs but will need to make at least a little bit of money to cover housing expenses while we are there. Any suggestions on where we can work or live for a month?
Good luck!
You aren't going to find many employers willing to hire you for just a month. By the time they finish training you, it's time for you to go. It's just not a good investment from an employer's point of view. If you don't tell your employer, your going to leave him/her in a very bad spot, which isn't very nice. SOme of these employers are small businesses that can't afford to have people just leave.
And finding housing for a month really falls under "vacation rentals, which are very expensive. Figure about at least $2,000 per week. You would probably be better off finding an "extended stay" type of hotel. At least it will have a small kitchen.
Once again, good luck!
