Why do the newborn clothes I bought not fit my 7.5 lb newborn? They swamp her.?
Ok, I had my 7lb 8oz , 20 inch long baby girl. She is exactly what statistics say the average baby weighs in the US, yet baby gap, gymboree, kohls, and even Potterybarn kids baby wear swamp her in the Newborn Size. I am so disappointed. A beautiful new baby and nothing to dress her up in. Do I now have to go out and buy preemie size clothes? Is there some size I missed that is smaller than newborn?
my son was 7lbs 9oz and 20inches long(almost the same size...lol) and i had the same exact problem. i bought like 4 or 5 premie outfits and put them on him when we were goin out somewhere and when i was home i let him wear the clothes that were to big. dont worry they grow very quickly.CONGRATULATIONS
