Anyone been to the West Indianapolis YMCA on Morris St?
I looked online for reviews and only found one, and it was pretty bad. Has anyone else ever had a membership there? Is the place nice and well kept (clean)? Are the people nice?
The one review I found said that they had no pool so you have to go to a high school and use that pool which is extremely cold (too cold for babies learning to swim). I don't know if that review was old or accurate so someone please share your experiences.
The reason I ask is that I looked into a Gymboree program for my baby and it's $65 a month just for my kid to use their stupid toys. I have been to a YMCA in northern Indiana which was VERY nice and even had a separate small warm pool for baby swim classes. It would be a huge disappointment to buy a membership then find out that I have to go to some other location for classes and whatnot.
I will probably go get a brochure and ask for a tour, but I'd like some reviews. Thanks

if you want swimming lessons there is a water place in Plainfield that is great - hotels offer them from time to time too.
Personally, I'm eagerly waiting for the NEW YMCA to be built off of Rockville Road - about three miles or so west of the Morris st location.
