How can I get a GREAT deal on a hotel?
I'm flying out to Santa Barbara, CA tomorrow morning and I'm going to spent the night there and I need to get a hotel for the night. I already looked into expedia, hotels, cheaptickets, orbitz, etc, but I still dont' feel like i'm getting a deal. What's the best way to really get an amazing deal on a hotel? I need a room for like 5 hours just to crashed and i dont' want to have to pay an arm and a leg. Thanks!
The Santa Barbara airport is in Goleta, so you should be looking for a hotel in Goleta and not in Santa Barbara. If you don't care about the room being fancy, there is a Motel 6 in walking distance from the airport. Orbitz says it is $59 per night. That's about as cheap as you are going to get in the greater SB area.
