Is there a DIY warterproofing kit for the basement?

Many. If you have a crack or small hole you can plug it with hydraulic cement. If you've never worked with it then just know you gotta move fast. It sets up quickly. But go to your local hardware store and see what they have. You can get 5 ga. pales of sealer for sealing the inside of basement walls that are damp. Lots of varieties to choose from, and prices. If you're working with little ventilation they have a product that is like a fine powdered cement that you mix with water and brush on. Works well and no fumes.
